Terms of Service

By joining Lomren's Early Access list, creating a Lomren account, or otherwise using the Lomren website or mobile app (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create a Lomren account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your account credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your account.

Lomren is a caregiver-support tool that helps you organize caregiving information, check in on how things are going, reflect over time, and stay coordinated with the people helping you care for a loved one. It is designed to support the person doing the caregiving — not to replace their judgment, and not to replace a doctor or care team.

Lomren is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the Service, including anything generated by the Lomren AI companion, should be treated as a substitute for professional medical advice from a qualified provider. Lomren is not monitored in real time and must never be used in a medical emergency or any situation requiring immediate assistance — call your local emergency number or go to your nearest emergency room instead.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of any information you enter into Lomren — including anything about a loved one you care for. Do not enter information about another person that you are not authorized to share, and do not use Lomren to record or transmit anything unlawful, abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service (including automated scraping or abuse of the Early Access form).
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Impersonate another person, or misrepresent your relationship to a Care Circle you join.

If you invite another caregiver to your Care Circle, you are responsible for deciding who you invite and what role (admin, caregiver, or viewer) you assign them. Once someone joins your Care Circle, the loved one's information you have chosen to share becomes visible to them according to that role. You can remove a member's access from within the app at any time.

The Lomren AI companion and any AI-generated reflections are produced by an automated system and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not tailored to your specific situation. AI-generated content is provided for general support and reflection only — it is not medical advice, and it is not reviewed by a clinician before it reaches you. Use your own judgment, and consult a qualified professional for medical questions.

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, and software, is owned by Lomren or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service as provided in these Terms, we do not grant you any rights, title, or interest in the Service. You retain ownership of the caregiving content you enter into Lomren; by entering it, you grant Lomren a license to store, process, and display that content back to you and to the Care Circle members you've chosen to share it with, solely to provide the Service to you.

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you agree that we may use them to improve Lomren without any obligation to compensate you or attribute them to you.

The Service relies on third-party providers (described in our Privacy Policy) and may link to third-party websites or content. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site or service.

Lomren is currently offered as a free, early-access product, and features may change, be added, or be removed as the product evolves. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, and you may stop using the Service, or delete your account, at any time.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT, WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR ERROR-FREE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LOMREN AND THE PEOPLE WHO BUILD IT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. BECAUSE LOMREN IS CURRENTLY PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

You agree to indemnify and hold Lomren harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms, to the extent caused by you.

These Terms are governed by applicable United States law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States.

We may update these Terms from time to time as the Service evolves. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
